The Collar care dairy handler headbail is redesigned with a one sided yoke for better head placement and rubber lined. With the emergence of wearables like Halter® and Shepherd® in the New Zealand Dairy and Beef industry, farmers are increasingly facing the challenge of attaching or removing these devices in safe and efficient ways. Often, existing facilities arent equipped to handle the process smoothly, leading to potential safety risks for both animals and farmers.
In response to this, TechniPharm has added some real innovations to their popular Dairy Handler headbail. First, they’ve added a rubber-lined, singleded yoke to ensure a secure and comfortable placement and hold on the cow is achieved. Second, they’ve introduced a 12-volt electric-hydraulic system that can be controlled remotely, allowing the operator to manage cow flow and placement of the Cow from any position keeping his hands free which potentially can also make Collar management a one person job. It also means all the hard work and handles are removed creating a clean safe space to work around the Handler. And finally, they’ve incorporated an automatic Neck extender that gently pushes the cow’s head forward, creating accessible neck space making it super safe for a person to attach the collar.
All of these improvement innovations mean less stress for the animals and a quicker, smoother, safer process for farmers to manage collars. In short, TechniPharm’s enhancements help everyone work more safely and efficiently, making the whole system just a lot better.
